The Center for Disability Resources at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant to support the development and implementation of The Transition Alliance of South Carolina, funded through a contract with the SC Department of Education.
This individual will work with secondary transition program staff at the Center for Disability Resources, related staff, partners and consultants to support the development, coordination and implementation of TASC program and related goals, objectives and activities. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft office suite. A bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related work experience, or high school diploma and 8 years work of related work experience; or equivalency is preferred.
This is a part-time (20 hours/week, 12 months/year) position. A state benefits package (i.e., health insurance, retirement and paid leave) is provided.
