Work Exploration Overview

This training will cover the “how tos” of developing and building a Community Based Work Exploration Program. Participants will learn the basics of performing a community survey, job development, and setting up local business partnerships. Best practices on student selection, scheduling and staff participation will be shared. In addition to the development of training sites at a variety of local businesses, successful partnerships with State agencies, including the State Park system will be discussed.
